Bimbo Bakeries USA (BBU) is proud to announce that our Sustainability Team has been recognized with the inaugural American Bakers Association (ABA) Champions for a Better Tomorrow Award for Planet! This award celebrates our commitment to reducing environmental impact and driving meaningful change through sustainable business practices.

Presented during the annual ABA Convention, the award recognizes our Baked for Nature program, which is dedicated to measurable carbon reductions and sustainability efforts. Through initiatives such as renewable energy adoption, energy efficiency optimization and advancing low-carbon technologies, BBU is making a lasting impact on the planet.

In addition to our sustainability win, 18 of our BBU bakeries were honored for excellence in safety performance and the successful implementation of safety and health management systems in 2024. This achievement highlights our ongoing efforts to maintain a workplace that prioritizes living our Safety Beliefs and Principles and working injury-free.
