Recently, Bimbo Bakeries USA (BBU) hosted a Brand Innovators Marketing Summit at our office in Horsham, PA, showcasing our commitment to marketing excellence and innovation. This event provided a platform to highlight our progress in marketing transformation, hear from external marketing professionals and generate fresh ideas.
Nicole Kane, VP Media & Marketing Transformation, shared her thoughts on the event as the creator. "Hosting an event like this gives BBU a stage to share the progress we are making along our marketing transformation journey, creates a dedicated time to be inspired by others and helps its future recruiting needs within the Philly area," she said.
The event featured both internal and external speakers, selected to align with the day’s theme. Nicole identified key internal speakers, while Brand Innovators, an organization dedicated to engaging a professional community of over 50,000 senior brand marketers from Fortune 500 and other leading companies, chose experts from their network, including professionals from Rite Aid, Church & Dwight, and Intel, to ensure diverse and engaging perspectives.
Reflecting on the day, Kane shared, “The energy in the office the day of the event was more than I have experienced since being at BBU, and even at other Brand Innovators events that I have attended. The audience was engaged all day! Mostly though, I was #BBUPROUD of the BBU speakers. Many had never spoken at an event like this, and they were naturals!”
