Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, Bimbo Bakeries USA has operated with one mission – Feeding America While Staying Safe. To deliver on this mission, our associates have worked tirelessly while adhering to our strict health and safety protocols.
New Year, Same Mission
It is a new year, but we will continue to operate with the same mission – Feeding America while Staying Safe.
BBU will continue to enforce our rigorous health and safety protocols around sanitation, wearing masks, social distancing and temperature monitoring across our sites. In addition, our COVID-19 Response Team will continue to meet each day to review evolving CDC and public health recommendations and take action to protect our associates and our communities while ensuring business continuity. BBU will continue to provide COVID-19 testing resources, pay for COVID-related absences and work to gain access to the COVID-19 vaccine on a priority basis when it is available to essential workers, consistent with federal, state and local health department guidelines. We also remain committed to supporting our associates through childcare support and educational assistance.
In 2021, BBU will continue to partner with local and national organizations who are making a difference in our communities through product and monetary donations. We will also continue to work with Feeding America to assist the millions of Americans facing food insecurity as a result of the pandemic.
